Paul Pittman, Coach & Senior Leadership Specialist

Paul has 25 plus years of international experience including leading the Canadian human capital practice at Andersen, global HR roles at Japan Tobacco International/RJR Nabisco, AngloGold Ashanti, Alcan, Massey-Ferguson and Laidlaw.

He has worked with many of Canada’s largest Corporations and their Boards on executive compensation, cultural change, employee benefit arrangements, mobile talent management, and numerous M&As.

He lead the HR teams in the acquisition of RJR Nabisco in 55 countries by Japan Tobacco, the IPO of Novelis in 16 countries, the integration of Pechiney with Alcan and successfully managed the transition of Andersen’s HR consulting practice into Deloitte upon their merger.

He is a former member of the Conference Board of Canada’s Council of Human Resource Executives. He writes for publications and speaks regularly at conferences internationally and has served on several NFPs.

His practice today comprises owner managed and emerging public and private companies where he works with the owner, CEO or board on people strategy and culture including the alignment of reward and ownership with business goals, engagement, talent management and governance.

He has lived in several locations in the UK and Canada, as well as Switzerland and worked extensively in many other parts of the world. He is an accountant by training and currently located in Toronto.
